Emotional Healing
Last week was my first visit to Lisa O'Donnal, a certified NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques). She worked on my 6 year old Hannah and myself. Hannah has always struggled with her emotions, that is putting it lightly. She's the number 4 daughter in our house and that alone is a challenge. We have had some problems with her choices at school and we discussed traditional therapy. However, I have been trying to focus more on 'keep moving forward', so when I heard about Lisa I was very intrigued. You have to be open to the technique. In my humanities of Asia class I gained a high respect of the Chinese and their centuries old heritage of natural healing. This method is based on those concepts. I have been sharing the success we have already been experiencing in both of our moods with my fitness classes. We have both been happier and we have both been able to cope better when we get frustrated with events out of our control. We plan on seeing her again and I will keep you posted about our progress. Her number is 801.830.3350

Almost Done!
Thank you all for your patience with the blog and the Challenge. I have learned a lot about how to blog in the last week and look forward to updating it more regularly and sharing more tips with you once I finish school in 8 days!
The word Kaizen means "continuous improvement". It comes from the Japanese words 改 ("kai") which means "change" or "to correct" and 善 ("zen") which means "good".
It is gradual and continuous improvement. That is story of this blog :) One of the first principles of Kaizen is to discard fixed ideas. It is necessary for us to continue learning, in all areas of our life. Keep watching as this kaizen blog changes as I continue learning about technology.
